Though it was not received well by die hard fans,this first attempt to bring the matrix universe to home consoles is a groundbreaking and highly entertaining action romp.While members of the main cast from the films will make brief appearances,you will be playing as either Niobe or Ghost,two side characters from the films.All the goodies found in the movies are here at your disposal such as: wall walking,bullet time,tons of kung fu and guns...lots of guns.The game also contains several training modes and a hacking option that allows you to activate cheats and download new programs and weapons.Graphically this game is astounding,highly polished environment and weapon surfaces gleam at every angle,sound quality is also top notch allowing you to hear every footstep,punch,explosion and gunshot in crystal clear quality.Since the story takes place between films 1 and 2,bits of video from the actual movies is intersperced within the gameplay.Bottom line,Enter the Matrix left me entertained and completely satisfied with my purchase.With nonstop action,unbelievable sound and audio quality,a long and exhilerating campaign,and an ubelievable price tag,letting this sleeper hit pass you by would be a shame of proportions just as epic as the game itself.
