First off let me tell you I love most KOEI games. However, this game is certainly in the vein of over think and manipulate every small detail of the game. It does get tedious over time and I eventually started to let the computer take control of everything.
Description of Nobunaga's Ambition: Rise to Power
Set during the 16th century, Nobunaga's Ambition: Rise to Power takes you back in time to Feudal Japan. It was during this time that the visionary Nobunaga Oda assembled the most advanced military force in Japan, and institute policies that stimulated the growth of the nation's economy. In the game, you'll assume the role of Nobunaga, or a rival warlord, in a quest to unite Japan under one rule. Master the art of diplomacy, win the support of the people, and train your army for war. Learn what it takes to control an empire and Japan could be yours.Battles are divided into field battles and sieges. The field battle utilizes a 3D real-time combat system. You can mobilize a broad range of units including spearmen, cavalry, mounted infantry, and cannon troops. You can also use your fortresses and towers to attack and defend against enemy troops. Taking over these units will increase morale, and as a result, allow you to use special skills such as Counter and Charge. These skills will prove to be especially useful when outnumbered. Warlords may deceive you, ninjas will hunt you down, and rebellion could erupt at any moment Nurture your village into a flourishing empire by learning what it takes to become a master economist and politician Robust character edit function features a wide variety of character faces, the ability to edit stats, and choose when and where the characters will appear A commanding and moving score composed by Kosuke Yamashita
